- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Don't even try calling this phone number. All you get is a message saying that "This mailbox is full, try your call again later". You must go into Scranton ( uck) and wait in the office, even for the simplest of things. I had an issue and after my visit to the office, I was told that I would have a response in 2-3 weeks. It has been 2 months, and nothing. I have called every IRS number and nothing but automated options. Does anyone actually work for the IRS. I wish you all the luck if you need to deal with the Scranton office or the IRS for that matter.By Nancy Tora, August 02, 2017
